Lift is a 2024 American heist comedy film directed by F. Gary Gray and written by Daniel Kunka. The film stars Kevin Hart, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D'Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno, and Sam Worthington.
The story follows Cyrus (Kevin Hart), a renowned international thief who leads a heist crew attempting to steal $500 million in gold from a vault on a passenger plane at 40,000 feet. Abby (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), an Interpol agent, teams up with Cyrus to pull off the daring heist.
Lift was released on Netflix on January 12, 2024 after being postponed from its original August 2023 release date due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.
