Blade: Trinity is a 2004 American superhero film directed and written by David S. Goyer, marking the final installment in the Blade trilogy. It stars Wesley Snipes as Blade, alongside Ryan Reynolds, Jessica Biel, and Kris Kristofferson. The plot follows Blade, who is framed for murders by the vampire leader Danica Talos (Parker Posey) and must team up with the Nightstalkers, a group of rogue vampire hunters, to combat Dracula, who has returned to threaten humanity.
Released on December 8, 2004, the film grossed approximately $132 million worldwide against a budget of $65 million. Despite its commercial success, it received mostly negative reviews for its formulaic themes and directing, making it the least favored entry in the trilogy. The film was followed by a television series, Blade: The Series, in 2006, and Marvel regained the film rights to the character in 2012.
